Caturra is a dwarf variety known for its good cup quality and yield. It is a natural mutation of Bourbon that causes the plant to grow smaller allowing for greater density of planting. It was discovered in Brazil in between 1915-1918 and became very popular in Colombia and most of Central America. It comes in red and yellow variants.
